ROCK-CORDION band!
Listen to some of TDA's music here.
Back on Turner Hall's Grand Hall stage for the third year in a row,
this San Francisco-based band gives new life and meaning to the accordion,
playing and singing everything from quirky original songs like Hippie With a
Banjo and There's Another Dumbass on the Mountain to Grand Funk's
We're an American (Accordion) Band and Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love.
Seasoned with low-key humor and commentary, Baby Boomers and other free-thinkers will find this
group especially appealing.
Fronted by lead singer/songwriter/squeezebox wizard Paul Rogers and
bellows-pumping babes Carri Abrahms, Susie Davis and Suzanne Garramone,
the group
is anchored by drummer Michael Messer and bass player Lewis Wallace,
who provide a firm foundation upon which the manic TDA accordionists
can layer huge slabs of sonic mayhem.
Among their many performance credits, TDA
has appeared at Milwaukee's Summerfest; on ABC's
Good Morning America, American Music Awards and
World News Now; and have provided music for The Drew Carey
Show and the Jerry Lewis MD Telethon. The group has also
released a number of cds, including Squeeze This, Amped, No Strings
Attached, Clownhead, Lawnball, and its latest, Squeeze Machine.
